Since all of our favorite people live in different corners of the map, we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than by bringing everyone together for a weekend in Charleston. We are so honored that you're making the trip to be with us. We’ve designed this weekend to be a true vacation for everyone, centered right at The Mills House.
Known affectionately as the "Pink Hotel," The Mills House has been a cornerstone of Charleston hospitality since 1853. We chose this landmark not just for its charm, but for its central location. Whether you are staying with us on-site or at a nearby inn, we invite you to make yourself at home here. Between events, feel free to grab a coffee at The Black Door Cafe or enjoy a cocktail by the Fountain Courtyard. It is the heart of our wedding weekend and we can’t wait to share its history with you.
8:45am | Mills House - Lobby The roster is set! For those playing in our Thursday outing, please meet in the lobby of The Mills House. Our shuttle will depart promptly at 8:45 AM to bring the group out to Kiawah Island. Our first tee time is at 10:40 AM.

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Ritual Rooftop & Lounge Start your Friday evening with us at Ritual! We’ve reserved space on the rooftop to welcome all of our out-of-town guests with drinks and city views. Since we wrap up at 7:00 PM, we recommend making a Friday night dinner reservation nearby on King Street (check out our Charleston Guide for favorite spots like Halls, FIG, or 167 Raw!)
Dress Code: Charleston Casual We want our guests to be comfortable, elegant, and ready to celebrate! We kindly request Charleston Casual attire for the evening—think lightweight suits, sport coats, or tailored button-downs (no ties required!) for men, and sundresses, cocktail dresses, or breezy jumpsuits for women.
5:30 PM | The Pool Terrace We invite you to join us on the Pool Terrace as we exchange our vows overlooking the heart of the Historic District. While we look forward to seeing everyone in their finest suits and gowns, please keep in mind that the ceremony will take place outdoors in the Charleston afternoon sun.
Dress Code: Charleston Formal We want our guests looking sharp while staying comfortable in the Lowcountry warmth! We request Charleston Formal attire—suits or tailored blazers with dress trousers for men (no ties required!), and floor-length gowns, midi dresses, or sophisticated jumpsuits for women.
6:00 PM | The Fountain Courtyard Immediately following the ceremony, please join us downstairs in the Fountain Courtyard. We’ll celebrate our first moments as Mr. and Mrs. with signature cocktails, Lowcountry hors d'oeuvres, and the sound of the fountain. This is the perfect time to explore the courtyard’s hidden corners before we head inside for dinner.
7:00 PM | The Signer’s Ballroom The celebration moves inside to the Signer’s Ballroom for an evening of dinner, drinks, and plenty of time on the dance floor. We’ll be enjoying a Lowcountry-inspired buffet featuring our favorite Charleston flavors. And, of course, keep an eye out for our signature espresso martinis—the perfect fuel to keep the party going until the final song!
Because we want you to fully enjoy the Lowcountry, we’ve centered our wedding weekend in the most walkable part of the city. We recommend skipping the rental car; the hotel is a simple 20-minute rideshare from Charleston International Airport (CHS).
If you are staying at The Mills House: Once you arrive, everything is at your doorstep. You are steps away from King Street’s best dining and the waterfront, so you can easily explore the city on foot between wedding festivities.
If you are staying elsewhere: Most downtown accommodations and vacation rentals are within a pleasant 10-minute walk or a very short Uber ride. If you do choose to drive, please note that The Mills House offers valet parking only, but there are several public garages nearby—the 93 Queen Street Garage is the most convenient option for our venue.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for, especially as many of you are traveling from afar to be with us in Charleston. However, if you would like to help us celebrate with a gift, we have curated a registry of things we'll use as we build our life together.
